Coming from a family of textile entrepreneurs stretching back to his grandparents in the 1930s. Luca followed in his fathers footsteps and was responsible for growing the Costa family business which is now owned by Carrera Group. As CEO of Carerra Underwear, he is now charged with bringing the brand to international markets.
As the CEO of TMC Ltd, Andy is responsible for the suite of innovative textile brands, notably Nuyarn® and Herculan®. Over his 30+ years in the textile industry, he has developed a strong capability in commercial and business acceleration. Andy has been able to transform TMC into a vertical business, which has put them in good stead to query every aspect of textile production from farm to apparel.
Gianluca represents the second generation of the Tacchella name in leading Carrera to be one of Italy’s most enduring and reputable casual apparel brands. He has been a part of Carrera since its establishment in 1965 and in 2001 he took over as CEO. He proudly keeps Carrera as one of the top men’s trousers producers for over five decades.
The Lempriere name can be seen in the wool industry all the way back to the 1850s. 5 generations of family heritage and being reputed as the oldest unbroken suppliers in wool industry, William overseas his family’s 5th successive generation of wool producers, exporters and processors. He brings significant supply chain knowledge and experience to Fortefilo.
Just as Carerra Underwear and TMC Ltd. stretch international bounds, the Fortefilo team is split across two countries. A team based out of the Carrera headquarters in Italy study and manage the product development while the team based within EFE in Turkey focus on the production.
The Fortefilo operation in Turkey provides unique opportunities for the local communities to positively elevate their lives. This focus on ethics has guided the design of the supply to have as little impact on humans, animals and the environment.
